Saumur-Champigny and Bourgeuil are the keys areas. The popular rose wine Cabernet díAnjou (more interesting than ordinary Anjou Rose) is mostly made from Cabernet Franc. In Bordeaux Cabernet Franc is often added to the ëClaretí blend, where it adds freshness and grassy overtones.
